ASSISTANT COMMONWEALTH'S ATTORNEY (PART-TIME)

The Richmond County Commonwealth's Attorney’s Office seeks a part-time Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney. The selected candidate will represent the Commonwealth in the prosecution of traffic infractions and criminal cases before the General District Court, the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, and the Circuit Court. Assistant Commonwealth's Attorneys are responsible for case preparation, which involves reviewing police reports and evidence, to include body-worn camera video, and, interviewing victims and witnesses. Attorneys also perform legal research, draft pleadings, and appellate briefs. The selected applicant should be skilled at legal research and writing, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in an office that values civility, initiative, creativity, humor, sound judgment, and skilled advocacy. While work is performed under the general direction of the Commonwealth's Attorney, the selected candidate must be decisive and able to exercise discretion. The qualified candidate must hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in Virginia, and be a member of the Virginia State Bar in good standing, with at least three years of criminal law and trial experience preferred.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN – Basic and Advanced Life Support  / Part-Time

The Richmond County Board of Supervisors is seeking qualified individuals for part-time positions for ALS and BLS providers.  The successful applicant will be employed by the Richmond County Department of Emergency Services. 

Position: Emergency Medical Technician – ALS or BLS, is a part-time position that consists of 12 or 24 hour shifts.  This position will work a combination of days, nights, and weekends as needed per month.  Minimum requirements are EMT-Basic, EVOC class II or higher, Haz-Mat awareness, CPR for health care providers, and ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800.

Salary: Salary will be determined according to experience and proven ability to perform required functions of the position.

Food Service Technician

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time Food Service Technician with a starting annual salary of $29,269.07. Drug Court Clerk

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is seeking a Drug Court Administrative Assistant to provide services related to the processing and management of court and supervision cases.  This part time position performs a variety of duties associated with managing client files, scheduling, data entry and other needed office support.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, or GED.
