The Richmond County Department of Social Servcies offers home based care and services to enable adults to remain in their homes and to function as independently as possible. Social Services also provides preadmission screening for Medicaid-funded out-of-home placements such as Medicaid-funded nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and adult day care, when necessary.
