EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN – Basic and Advanced Life Support  / Part-Time

The Richmond County Board of Supervisors is seeking qualified individuals for part-time positions for ALS and BLS providers.  The successful applicant will be employed by the Richmond County Department of Emergency Services. 

Position: Emergency Medical Technician – ALS or BLS, is a part-time position that consists of 12 or 24 hour shifts.  This position will work a combination of days, nights, and weekends as needed per month.  Minimum requirements are EMT-Basic, EVOC class II or higher, Haz-Mat awareness, CPR for health care providers, and ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800.

Salary: Salary will be determined according to experience and proven ability to perform required functions of the position.

Registered Nurse

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to join our team. This full-time position performs a variety of duties associated with the provision of medical care to inmates, including supervision of the jail’s medical team. This person will report to the Chief of Inmate Services and receive clinical supervision from a physician who is the jail’s Medical Authority.  Applicants must be currently licensed as an Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.  Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, and a medical examination. Part Time Jail Officer

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is seeking candidates for Part Time Jail Officer Positions.  The successful candidates will earn $30 per hour.  We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule to provide scheduled or unscheduled shift coverage as needed by the jail. Re-entry Services

The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, VA, is looking for someone interested in joining the NNRJ programs team and providing re-entry and other services to the inmate population!!  The best candidate for this position will have the following attributes:1 – A STUDENT mindset, 2 -  Approaches work with extreme ownership, 3 -  A desire to be a part of creating programs that contribute to the jail’s overall missions,4 -  A drive to get things done and done well.  Much of what this full-time position will be counted on to do is established by a DCJS grant, but there are pieces that will be developed over time as the programs team figures out solutions to managing an array of challenges that face jails, such as mental health, mental developmental challenges, service and resource matching, re-entry opportunities, etc.  So, flexibility in duties and responsibilities is expected! Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED. Successful applicants must undergo a background investigation, polygraph, and medical examination.
